Day 77

Yup, still in the house.

The last 12 days were pretty much about the same things, I mean, what else could I ever do l o l

We celebrated Mama’s birthday on the 27th and just like anyone else, the quarantine left us with limited options (living outside Metro Manila’s such a bummer) hence the ever-reliable McDonald’s and Amber’s to the rescue! We missed their food too so everyone still enjoyed (shoutout to sister who has escaped the cage for work and is now in an LDR with us) and Mama also loved the goodies I got her from Lazada hahaha

I tried a bit with a digital improvised birthday banner but now that it’s done, I’m thinking that I should’ve used a photo of a birthday cake instead l o l

Work-wise, it’s become twice as busy than the last few weeks and the conference calls have been honestly draining. Just looking at the fact that stressing myself while preparing for work every morning, transferring to different meeting locations and not having to stay late in the office have been removed from my daily routine as silver linings to these. I don’t know about you, but I’d rather work my ass off inside my home even if I’d have to keep myself up until 7 in the morning (just did that again last weekend, crazy me) than at the office only to bug Ian to fetch and drive me home at 3, also in the morning. I mean, travel time being replaced by ‘boring’ few steps to the bedroom is not something I treat as complain-worthy.
