Day 40

Aaaahhh I can’t believe I’m rewriting just because I accidentally deleted the draft and I don’t know how to undo it! Was saying that this week’s pretty much relaxed compared to the previous one but now I’m annoyed like crazy l o l

So my childhood best friend sent me a leaked photo of what would’ve been the PH President’s announcement tomorrow by 8AM and well, it’s community quarantine season 3, as expected. I personally think that it’s the most sensible thing to do right now — indefinite extension even, until it’s all clear to resume again — but we all know by now that unfortunately, health is not enough justification and that many factors should be considered to come up with a sound decision in this very difficult time. I just hope that we’ll get past through this very soon so we may live with ease again.

On a superficial note, I’ve been wanting some chewy gooey cookies since the start of the lockdown and I still haven’t satisfied this craving since! 40 days of dealing with the sadness is just so hard for a foodie like me. Been living on home-cooked snacks and the famous dalgona coffee these days. Thank goodness also for the humble Facebook community groups of our village, I’m able to get some fun food for me and my family at times, aside from the usual McDonald’s and Chooks-to-go via Grab Food l o l. How I wish I live within Metro Manila right now!

Happy to report too that I’m still being consistent with my garage run — I hit my 23rd mark today, I can’t believe it! This makes me realize that I could’ve just saved all the money I spent on my spinning classes but I ain’t regretting all the good they made me feel! Can’t wait to be back at the studio again but I’m also happy with my body’s current state! Just dealing with the ECQ extension by thinking about how many more running days I can add up to my record.

Sleep wise, I think my clock has gotten better because I get to sleep as soon as I put my phone down, although weekends are a different story l o l
