Day 43

I’m really getting used to this quarantine life that I think I can endure until the end of the year. I do miss hanging out, eating good food outside, shopping and traveling but life right now works just fine for me. I mean, I have not been an “essential only” person (or spender for that matter) in forever and being one right now (just bills, bills and only bills) allows me to proclaim myself as responsible even though it’s forced — it’s still being responsible, right? l o l

Was so knocked out yesterday I spent the entire day sleeping! Ian and I talked until 5 in the morning the night before, so I slept around 5:30 and woke by lunch time. After lunch, I decided to lounge by the bench outside and stream JoJo’s new singles from her upcoming album in loud speaker since I was charging my phone supposedly in time for my run. But the sleeping bug hit me hard that I dozed off at the bench for about three hours and would’ve not woken up had my brother did not hit my feet and told me to get inside. Went in my room and continued my slumber until dinner time. After dinner, I’d normally have the energy to Netflix-and-chill but my bed was too persuasive I was already dreaming by 1 o’clock.

Dreams.

I know this dreaming more vividly thing in this time of the pandemic is not exactly new but it’s also true in my case. Well I’ve always been a vivid dreamer and I tend to get hung up with my dreams that if I could continue where we left off, I’d do whatever it takes.

I want to remember as much detail as I could, and that’s what ’m going to work on moving forward.

We’re approaching Sunday dinner time and while I talked myself to run tonight (I missed it yesterday because of the sleeping), laziness is creeping in.

We had turon for merienda which are basically deep-fried wrapped bananas topped with a good amount of brown sugar. Carbs. Well I never cared about carbs but I gotta remember that we also had adobo for today’s lunch and tinola for dinner last night. Okay, those were pretty huge carbs.

Okay, that’s it.

I’m going to change into my tights now.
