Congratulations and best wishes, Alex & Annie!

Cannot not have coffee!

Cannot not have coffee!

Exactly a week ago, our college barkada spent the weekend right before Christmas in Tagaytay to celebrate the union of Alex and Annie. Three days and two nights of non-stop laughing, eating, drinking and gambling! Lol

Happy to have shared memories with them like that again as for the past few years, although we see to it that we catch up every now and then, the dinner + coffee / beer combo are always not enough with these dudes. If only we could just go back to being students, and have that one gathering where we could all be together and complete again, that would be amazing.

The wedding was extra special because Caleruega used to be our retreat house in college, and obviously all of us felt at home and felt like we knew every corner like the back of our hands! We used to run at the hallways, cry inside the dormitories and shout at the hills as if there’s nothing else in the world that matters. Oh, to be young and naive!

Thirteen years after we all met, I can still wholeheartedly say that nothing compares to this crew. Carrying the groom’s torch was the only thing that mattered and even if it meant driving back and forth no matter the hour, taking stuff from one place to another, losing everything inside our wallets for the love of the game, refusing to sleep even if we could no longer take it — we were all for it.

I just love how we care and love each other so much that we’re not afraid to say and show how much we do, and I know that I can trust my heart when it feels that we’re going to grow old and gray but still mad crazy together. I can’t wait to add more memories and celebrate more milestones with you guys, I love you all so much and thank you for being my solid rock since day one.

Damn, how did I get so lucky?
