Finally had the chance to go on a break and for the first time in a while, I felt it was proper, and for that I’m thankful. AAAAAAHHHH. Saving the back story for another entry which I hope to create the soonest! For now, sharing these really nice places that made the trip a memorable one. It had been very food-centric honestly, got no agenda other than the much needed r&r a.k.a. spoil the tummies and massage! We didn’t even go to the mall lol

113 Wagner Cafe

Was looking for something different to try since I’ve become quite unfamiliar with what’s new in the city and so glad to have found this gem! The place was really nice and food was very good. Definitely coming back to try the other dishes on the menu!

Foggy Mountain Cookhouse

This one was a sure shot the moment the trip was finalized. I couldn’t forget how good the food was the first time I got to try, and five years later it’s still as sumptuous as ever — even more, I think! The herb roasted chicken is still the best, and realizing that it’s whole and supposedly good for 4 pax when it’s just a table for two didn’t discourage us at all lol. They were the best leftovers we’ve had in a while!

Foam Coffee

Also a good find courtesy of a former officemate who’s also in the city the same weekend! The shop was pretty big and a true student hang-out lol gen Zs were all over but the good side was we looked like we’re in the same generation ha ha ha. The coffee we tried tasted “unique”, if that would be an acceptable description, and I mean it in a good way. Amazing how they both turned foamy in the process and I guess that’s why I said it’s unique lol. Alsooo — they’re open 24 hours damn I need it in my life

Lime & Basil

This was on the list from the start as it just feels right to try out the newly-opened restaurant owned by your friend who never fails to make every trip up north a good one! Also, we haven’t tried Thai food together yet so it was a fitting choice. Loved the spring rolls and pad thai we are definitely visiting the Tagaytay branch next!

Taguan Cafe

Another one worthy of the twenty-minute cab ride! The coffee shop is like a nook at the back of a restaurant which is where it gets its charm. We visited late afternoon and it was perfect for we got to enjoy how cozy and chilly it was. The hot chocolate I ordered hit it right with the tablea which I really like!

As if it’s not enough, wait there’s more —

Okay I’m literally fat now let me end this with some non-food photos for contrast

Thanks for being always so great, Baguio <3
