It’s a trip to the north once again, and with my college block mates this time! For the first time in fourteen years, we finally went beyond our dinner + coffee combos, and what an achievement for us to have pushed through! Last weekend’s trip was a much needed breather for me, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

We didn’t have concrete plans, and that one Facebook tag dictated how we went about the trip. One glance at Northern Blossom Flower Farm was enough for us to say yes to the unknown adventure. From La Trinidad, we took the 2-hr van ride to Atok. The whole trip was smooth and we were practically asleep almost the entire time until we started feeling the zigzags. Thirty minutes of the curves woke our beings and thinking that it was too much to think that we’d be reaching the highest point of the mountain was dumb.

But alas! The moment we set foot at the farm we already realized it was worth it! The colors of the flowers would have bloomed more if it weren’t for the thick fog but the 11°C temperature gave off a different experience.
