It’s those years — 2016 to 2018 when I’d fly to Boracay twice/thrice a year for work. The LaBoracay era was undoubtedly one of the best highlights of my youthful career as a Trade Marketing Officer with the best teammates in the world. Okay, that introduction’s totally irrelevant as this particular trip was not work-related at all l o l o l o l

Why the need to mention — it’s because it was my fourth time to fly to the island that year 2017 and of all the instances when Mister Sun could’ve chosen not to show up, it had to be my “vacation” time! A tropical storm was lurking around the Philippine area of responsibility at the time of visit, and it was scary as hell! We were at Spider House when the waves were hitting the shore so hard, and I was already feeling panicky as the structure was mostly made out of woods! Poseidon seemed really angry, man.
